Today the kids got to make pinewood derby cars they will race in a couple weeks. I thought we would be getting a car all cut out that we just got to decorate and slap some tires on....nope....you get a block of wood that you design and cut out. Thankfully there were some handy guys around to help the kids since Jared was working. Without them the kids would be racing a block of nicely decorated wood with tires slapped on!
